Jan. 29 at Maryland: Early foul trouble, subpar free throw shooting, an early rash of turnovers and the inability to finish plays it normally completes combined to send Wisconsin to a 76-68 loss. Graduate guard John Tonje posted 23 points and graduate center Steven Crowl added 10 points and nine rebounds.

Indiana trailed by 20 points in the first six minutes and lost to Wisconsin 76-64 on Tuesday night at in Madison. It was the Hoosiers' 21st straight loss at the Kohl Center, a school record.
