Temperatures held in the upper 40s Saturday night into most of the day. Then a cold front arrived mid-afternoon with much drier air. This cleared out the mist and fog as temperatures dropped quickly into the low 40s.

Showers and storms will arrive in North Texas late Saturday, Jan. 25. Rain chances (20%) will arrive with a weak cold front, with the best chances for precipitation south and east of the Metroplex, according to the National Weather Service Fort Worth.
