They just wish he would've waited to share his plans, according to ESPN, privately expressing frustration over the fact the star wide receiver's trade request surfaced on the same day of fellow wideout Tyler Lockett's departure.

Wednesday was supposed to be Tyler Lockett Day in Seattle. It instead became D.K. Metcalf Could Be Traded Day. And the Seahawks weren't thrilled about it. G.M. John Schneider told Seattle Sports 710 on Thursday that they weren't thrilled the Metcalf news overpowered the end of Lockett's 10-year run in Seattle.

The Seahawks released wide receiver Tyler Lockett, an all-time franchise great, who has 8,594 receiving yards and 61 touchdowns in 10 seasons.
