The Google Pixel 9 was released last August, starting at $799 for the model with 128GB of storage, and rising to $899 for double that. In the intervening months, prices have dropped, and you can now get one for as low as $599 if you shop around.

Google is set to launch its Pixel 9a smartphone in India. Interested buyers can currently purchase the Pixel 8a smartphone at its lowest price ever.

Google Pixel 9a is expected to launch on March 26, features a 6.28-inch display, Tensor G4 chipset, and new Iris color variant.

For the same $499, the Pixel 9a is rumored to deliver a larger display, a sleeker design without the bulky camera bar and more powerful cameras. And while the Tensor G4 chip isn't the fastest, it should provide smooth performance in everyday tasks.

Amazon has been dropping prices on these phones fairly consistently since they were first released last fall. The higher-end Pixel 9 Pro XL was on sale just last week and now the more affordable option is getting a similar price cut.
