It was a special night inside Rupp Arena as the Kentucky Wildcats crushed the LSU Tigers to close out the home schedule while also saying goodbye to six special seniors who decided to come along for the ride in Mark Pope’s first season in Lexington.

As the final buzzer echoed through Rupp Arena, the Kentucky Wildcats celebrated more than just a dominant 31-point victory over LSU. The night marked the last home game for six senior Wildcats, and head coach Mark Pope took center stage to bid farewell to a passionate Big Blue Nation.

Former Kentucky forward Adou Thiero hit the Cats with 21 points and eight rebounds. Ex-UK point guard D.J. Wagner contributed 17 points and eight assists, while one-time Cats big man Zvonimir Ivisic hit four of seven 3-pointers and had 14 points and four boards for the Hogs.
