A pedestrian was struck and killed by a light rail train on Wednesday afternoon in St. Paul, Minnesota, according to Metro Transit.

According to Metro Transit, the person was crossing the tracks at a marked pedestrian crossing at around 1:40 p.m. when a westbound Green Line train hit them.
